Marbles Kids Museum opened in 2007 as a nonprofit dedicated to providing interactive learning experiences for children in Wake County and beyond.
The museum was created from the merger of Playspace, a local children’s museum, and Exploris, a global learning center. The name “Marbles” was chosen to represent the idea of curiosity, imagination, and play, which are at the heart of every exhibit and program.
